Service Guide offers several chock and bearing maintenance programs to choose from based on your specific tonnage, usage, or time frame and taylor a specific maintenance program based on your needs. When we handle your chock maintenance program, we purchase and stock component parts that are routinely replaced, such as seals, O-rings, gaskets, and miscellaneous bolts and fittings. Having these parts on hand shortens the lead-time to repair and return your chocks.

We have a database that tracks the "part history" of chocks. It keeps a record of every time a particular chock has been to Service Guide, as well as the current location of the chock. You can access this database over the Internet with "read only" privileges, so you will know the status of your chocks at all times.

For a typical finishing mill work roll program, we recommend that you keep at least two chocks on hand for emergencies, but we also agree to have a set of chocks assembled and ready for shipment. For the backup rolls, we would have all of the components on hand to assemble a set of chocks.
